Midsummer for our garden: all in bloom.

Little hemp plant among young amaranths

first squashes and courgettes

 quite a few white butterflies

Here we cleared what 10 years ago was chicken hoop, uncovering some black currants grown into a wire fence and a couple plum trees which seam to produce some plums.

Working on the well: cleaning and making cover so things can't get in:

Everything in the garden seams to be growing despite hot weather, it's average +25C daytime but there is an occasional rain/storm and every morning all greenery in covered in dew.

pumpkin and it's seed shell

radish flowers

last years reseeded radish

 new rhubarb from seed

echinacea

new compost heap and we put in some late seeds just now

Japanese giant red mustard

 buckweed

mustard has fallen on it's side, we are keeping it for seeds, besides seed buds taste delicious like radishes.

last year's parsnips left for seed

rapeseed
